Energy: A Balanced Future: Conference & Exhibition

The main aim of the conference is to highlight the importance of securing a balanced energy mix in the UK to meet future demand and to showcase the opportunities to the UK supply chain across three main energy sectors.

The role of oil and gas, nuclear and offshore renewables in achieving this balanced energy mix will be addressed by leading industry executives who will also highlight their need for a multi skilled integrated supply chain who can easily move with them to the new emerging energy sectors.

The 2011 conference saw the following companies present; Siemens, EDF Energy, ConocoPhillips, Centrica, Nuclear Industry Association and the Crown Estate. In addition the following VIP guests came along to network with the supply chain; BG International, Costain Energy & Process, Foster Wheeler Energy, GDF Suez, Horizon Nuclear Power, OGN group, Petrobras, Studsvik and TAG Energy Solutions to name but a few.

We expect to see 300 plus delegates attend the conference in 2012 with an exhibition being organised to run alongside which will serve to showcase some of the NOF Energy supply chain companies.  A selection of VIPs’ from the tier 1 and tier 2 energy business community will also be invited to attend the conference again in 2012.

A networking reception will take place the evening before on 6th March to which speakers, sponsors and delegates attending the conference on 7th March will be invited.

This major conference being held in North East England will attract key players and supply chain companies from the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore renewables sectors and we are envisaging it will be a sell out event.
