Lexcel Version 5 update

Following the shakeup of the legal profession in October 2011, the Lexcel Office at the Law Society have revised and released v5 of the Standard. The Standard has been revised to enhance its relevance to the profession, increasing the risk management requirements, and providing greater support for outcomes-focused regulation (OFR).

Available for assessment from 1st January 2012, Lexcel v5 will be optional for all firms with an assessment booked. From 1st July 2012, it will become mandatory, and will replace all previous versions.

This half day course will highlight the changes from previous Standards as well as focusing on utilising the risk management aspects to enhance your firm. If you are currently working towards Lexcel accreditation or would like a refresher on the Standard, this is the course for you.
