J & B Recycling
J&B Recycling has grown from a small family-managed business into a reputable, established recycling and waste management company that is recognised nationally. The number of employees has increased from 20 full time staff in 2005, to 145 today, fulfilling a key business aim of providing sustainable employment for local people.
J&B was formed with the strategic aim of developing not just another waste management company, but to become a company focused on recycling, customer service and innovation.
- Collection of domestic co-mingled or pre-sorted recyclable waste from customers’ premises before sorting and recycling at our two Materials Recycling Facilities (MRF) in Hartlepool
- Management and operation of Household Waste Recycling Centres sites one in Hartlepool and two in Redcar, plus transport to J&B facilities
- Collection and management of commercial and industrial waste
- Operation of two MRFs at Thomlinson Road and Baltic Street, in Hartlepool
- Transport, treatment and transfer of hazardous waste from customers’ premises to J&B sites and or third parties
