Tech company expands into South Tyneside following “extraordinary growth”

A North East tech firm which is “paving the way” in internet connectivity has expanded into a new office space in South Tyneside to meet business growth and demand for its services.

Trench Networks Limited’s award-winning technology provides businesses with “reliable, secure, and high performing connectivity solutions”, including 4G, 5G and Fibre. Using a range of technologies has allowed the company to deliver robust connections to any location.

The company provides connectivity to a range of construction firms, from North East based Metnor Group Ltd and ESH Group to Bowmer + Kirkland. As businesses become more dependent on the effectiveness of their digital capabilities, Trench Networks has seen huge growth and increased demand from businesses of all types, across varying sectors.

As a result of growth sustained over the last six months, the firm has relocated operations to Monkton Business Park in Hebburn, with its “prime location and excellent transport links” proving a deciding factor.

Kevin Latimer, CEO and co-founder at Trench Networks, said: “This is an extremely exciting time for us as we expand into our new office space to meet the extraordinary growth we’ve experienced over the last six months. We’re pleased to join Monkton Business Park alongside like minded businesses in the IT and construction industry.

“Ultimately, we moved to Hebburn due to its fantastic transport links, although we offer hybrid working, its central location is great for our employees. As we look to expand further, it’s incredibly important from a recruitment perspective that we can attract talent from across the wider North East and beyond.

“For customers visiting, the modern office space enables us to showcase our capabilities, whilst the location provides easy access. The technology we create works universally, in any location, across all industries. I am pleased to welcome Sufri and Colin to the team, who will drive the next stage of growth and expansion into new sectors over the next 12 months.”

Cllr Mark Walsh, lead member for regeneration and economy at South Tyneside Council, added: “We’re pleased to welcome another fantastic business to Monkton Business Park, and we look forward to seeing Trench Networks evolve over the coming months bringing new expertise and jobs to the area.”
