Run club fosters community and growth
A North East fitness group has organised another 5K run as part of their run club.
Washington-based male-only Training Club partnered with Puresport to host the 5K Run Club, drawing a turnout of more than 60 participants.
Runners were fuelled by Puresport electrolytes and received a limited-edition Training Club water bottle as a memento, with the run showcasing the importance of community and personal growth.
The post-run social also included refreshments from Coffee Club and Deep North Donuts, adding to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Marcus McCreedy, Training Club’s head coach, said: “We’re building spaces for men to show up, support one another, and do things they didn’t think they were capable of.”
The run marked another step in The Training Club’s mission to build strong support networks for men, following their recent ‘Men’s Day: The High Performing Man’ event, encouraging confidence and connection through fitness.
