Hybrid Planning promotes senior duo

Planning consultancy Hybrid Planning & Development has promoted Aleksander Pantazis to associate director and Charlotte Mills to associate planner.

Aleks joined the London Bridge-based firm in April 2024 following roles across both the private and public sectors.

He has experience working on complex development and regeneration projects and is currently overseeing a major residential scheme in Slough alongside the redevelopment of a vacant office building in Southend to create 154 homes.

Aleks said: “This is definitely a career highlight.

“Being promoted was incredibly rewarding and felt like genuine recognition of the trust and confidence the company has placed in me.

“My new role brings more responsibility, particularly around line management and business development.

“I’m looking forward to strengthening client relationships and helping to drive the continued success and growth of our planning team.”

Charlotte’s promotion follows her achievement of associate RTPI status earlier this year, marking the latest step in her progression with the consultancy.

In their new roles, both Aleks and Charlotte will take on greater responsibility for team management and mentoring, including supporting staff development, training and recruitment.

Charlotte added: “Becoming AssocRTPI after completing seven years’ professional experience really boosted my confidence, and I like being an example to others who haven’t followed a traditional academic route into planning.

“Taking the step up to associate planner felt like a natural progression to work towards and I’m thrilled to have reached this goal!”

The promotions add further senior capacity to Hybrid Planning & Development as it continues to develop its team and deliver planning advice across a range of development and regeneration projects.

They also reflect the consultancy’s focus on internal progression and developing its people as they take on increased responsibility within the business.
