Michael Cummins welcomes new partner

Specialist law firm Michael Cummins Employment Solicitors has appointed Amy Edwards as partner, adding further senior experience to its employment law team.

Amy joins after four years as a partner at Tollers and will advise employers and senior employees across all aspects of employment law.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2008 at Turner Coulston, now Borneo Martell Turner Coulston, after studying law at Liverpool John Moores University and the College of Law in Chester.

Amy later joined Brethertons Solicitors, where she progressed from employment solicitor to associate, head of employment and ultimately partner.

Before beginning her legal career, she also spent a year working for BRI Business Recovery & Insolvency, gaining experience of the commercial challenges facing businesses.

Amy said: “I am very much looking forward to working with Michael and the team at a firm which specialises in employment law.

“That focus means we can build relationships with clients and really get to know them, become part of what they do and understand what they need from us to succeed.”

Amy’s appointment adds further expertise to Michael Cummins Employment Solicitors as it continues to support businesses and individuals across a range of workplace and employment matters.

The specialist firm operates from Desford Hall in Leicestershire and Colmore Row in Birmingham.
