Recruitment duo join forces in ‘natural fit’

Two North East recruitment specialists have joined forces to broaden the support available to businesses looking to grow their teams.

Shrewd Hire, the specialist HR recruitment service operated by Shrewd HR, has partnered with Sunderland-based Gillespie Recruitment, which works with businesses nationwide across a range of sectors and roles.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two companies, with Gillespie having previously worked with Shrewd HR as a client.

Led by Natalie Macpherson, Shrewd Hire focuses exclusively on recruiting HR professionals, from entry-level positions through to senior appointments, using an HR-led, consultative approach.

Gillespie Recruitment, founded by Laura Gillespie, provides recruitment support across a broader range of sectors and specialisms.

By combining their expertise, the businesses aim to offer clients a broader recruitment service, underpinned by a shared approach focused on understanding individual organisations rather than simply matching candidates to vacancies.

Companies working with either partner will be able to access specialist help with HR appointments as well as roles across other areas of their business, without having to source an additional recruitment provider.
