Complii appoints lifts sales director
Building safety and regulatory compliance provider Complii, headquartered in London, has appointed Martin Oliver as divisional sales director for its lifts and escalators division.
Martin brings extensive commercial leadership experience from across the lift industry and will report to chief commercial officer Martin Truscott.
In his new role, he will lead the division’s sales strategy, with a focus on integrating recently acquired businesses, strengthening key accounts and supporting sustainable growth.
His experience includes developing business and sales strategies, building long-term client and supplier relationships and leading high-performing commercial teams.
Martin said: “I am delighted to be joining Complii at such an exciting stage of the lifts and escalators division’s development.
“I have always believed that success in commercial leadership comes down to the quality of your relationships and your ability to keep your promises to clients and partners alike.
“Complii has built something genuinely strong here, and I look forward to working with the team to drive growth, secure new partnerships, and continue delivering the high standards our clients expect.
“I am proud to be part of a business with this level of ambition.”
Martin’s appointment follows a period of rapid expansion for Complii’s lifts and escalators division, including the acquisitions of Classic Lifts (Scotland), The Escalator Company, White Lift Services and, most recently, The General Lift Company.
Martin will work alongside group and divisional leaders to support the integration of the acquired businesses while strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients.
The move forms part of Complii’s continued investment in senior leadership as it scales its operations across five core compliance areas: water, fire, air, electrical, and lifts and escalators.
Sarah Dixon, chief executive of Complii, added: “Martin is exactly the kind of senior leader we needed to take our lifts and escalators division to the next level.
“We have made significant strides in building out this service line, and the acquisitions we have completed are a testament to that momentum.
“Martin brings commercial rigour, sector credibility, and a client-focused mindset to further accelerate that growth.
“We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
