SQUIDGY expands paid media team
Newcastle-based digital marketing agency SQUIDGY has made two promotions and a new appointment to its paid media team following a year of growth.
Sam Yielder has been promoted to head of paid, taking responsibility for the team’s strategy and delivery across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and paid social.
He will oversee campaign planning, delivery and reporting across the agency’s growing client base, while helping shape the future development of the team.
Amy Rowell has stepped up to paid media manager, taking greater responsibility for client accounts and day-to-day campaign delivery.
Meanwhile, Conor Simpson has joined the agency as paid media manager, adding further capacity as demand for paid media services increases.
The team has more than doubled its LinkedIn advertising spend under management over the past year, recording a 160.1 per cent increase, while Google Ads spend under management has risen by 21.7 per cent.
SQUIDGY, which specialises exclusively in SEO, PPC and paid social, says the expansion will help maintain a senior-led approach as its client base and advertising budgets under management continue to grow.
Sam Yielder, head of paid at SQUIDGY, said: “It’s been a big year for the paid team; we’ve grown the accounts we manage, grown the team around them, and grown what we’re capable of delivering for clients.
“Promoting Amy and bringing Conor in isn’t just filling seats, it’s making sure we've got the right people in place to keep that momentum going into next year.”
