Yorkshire agency to help GEO ‘unlock growth’
A Yorkshire marketing agency has secured a new brief to support the growth and transformation of a global speciality chemicals business.
Perfect Storm has been appointed by Southampton-based GEO Speciality Chemicals following a competitive pitch.
The agency will deliver business transformation, brand and communications strategy as GEO enters its next phase of growth following its recent acquisition by private equity investor The Enact Fund.
Dave Nutter, co-founder of Perfect Storm, said: “GEO is a business with huge growth potential, so it’s exciting to be working with the organisation during this pivotal time in their development.
“This is exactly the kind of brief we as an agency love to get our teeth stuck into, partnering with ambitious businesses looking to unlock growth through clearer strategy, sharper communications and stronger brand.”
GEO has more than 30 years’ experience producing speciality chemicals used across a range of everyday products and applications, including nail polish, contact lenses, dentistry, adhesives and specialist coatings.
The appointment adds to Perfect Storm’s growing portfolio of work with organisations undergoing periods of change and expansion, with the agency providing strategic marketing support to businesses across a range of sectors.
Andrew Willson, chief executive at GEO Speciality Chemicals, added: “2026 has been a huge year for GEO, but 2027 will be even more important and it is with great optimism that we look to the future with our new owners.
“We’re delighted to be working with Perfect Storm to help formulate our brand and communications strategies and we are already impressed by their marketing expertise and their extensive experience of driving business transformation.”
