Node4 names new chief executive

Derby-based AI business solutions and managed services provider Node4 has appointed Serge Lupas as chief executive as it looks to build on its existing strategy and support its next phase of growth.

Serge joins from Cyclomedia Technology, where he served as global chief executive, and previously held the roles of global chief executive and president at Kantar Media.

He also brings leadership experience from a number of international technology, data and connectivity businesses, with a track record of scaling global organisations.

In his new role, Serge will work alongside Node4’s board and executive team as the business continues investing across AI business solutions, cloud and hybrid platforms, security, data and managed services.

Serge said: “What drew me to Node4 was the strength of the people, the quality of customer relationships and the depth of capability across the business. 

“While I didn't know Neil Muller personally, I’ve heard a great deal about the energy, ambition, and belief he brought to Node4. 

“I have real confidence in the strategy and the direction that has been set. 

“My immediate focus is to listen, learn and work alongside colleagues and customers and help accelerate the momentum already underway.”  

Serge’s appointment follows the death of former chief executive Neil Muller in June, who helped shape Node4’s Growing Together strategy and its focus on customer success, sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

“In Serge, we have found an experienced leader who recognises the strength of the strategy Neil helped shape with the board and executive team and has the capability to accelerate its delivery for our customers and our people. 

“Our strategic direction remains unchanged. Serge joins us to build on the strong foundations already in place and lead Node4 through its next phase of growth.”
