Amtivo appoints US operations director
Kent-headquartered certification, assurance and training provider Amtivo has strengthened its international leadership team with the appointment of Cristine Marion as director of technical operations for its US business.
Cristine brings more than 20 years’ experience in the certification industry, having previously held a series of operational and technical roles at NQA.
Most recently, she served as operations director, overseeing the client lifecycle from renewals and service development through to certificate issuance.
In her new role, Cristine will lead Amtivo’s US technical team, focusing on auditor service delivery, operational compliance and improving internal processes.
She will work alongside programme managers, auditors and compliance specialists to support training and professional development while ensuring accreditation requirements are maintained.
Cristine said: “Having worked across so many different areas of a certification body, I’ve seen how closely technical compliance, operational efficiency, auditor experience and client service are connected.
“My focus will be on bringing those elements together, so that we continue to meet our accreditation requirements while developing our auditors and delivering the best possible service for our clients.
“I’m particularly looking forward to combining the knowledge I’ve built over the past 20 years with new ideas and approaches from across Amtivo as we continue to strengthen and scale the US business.”
Randy Daugharthy, president of Amtivo in the USA, added: “Cristine brings significant certification industry experience and a valuable understanding of how the different parts of a certification body need to work together effectively.
“Her appointment will support our continued focus on technical excellence, operational efficiency and the development of our auditor community as we grow.
“We’re delighted to welcome her to Amtivo.”
Cristine’s appointment forms part of Amtivo’s continued investment in regional leadership as the business develops its international operations.
It follows the recent appointments of Richard Stabbins as UK managing director and Jennifer Hegarty as Ireland general manager and group chief of staff.
The appointments support Amtivo’s strategy of strengthening local expertise while drawing on the resources and capabilities of its global group.
