Member news: Aegis IT to demo the latest technology from VMwareand Huawei
Leading technology consultancy Aegis IT is to host a series of free, specialised workshops this September to give education and public sector customers the chance to try out the newly launched vSphere 5 and the latest storage solutions and tablet technology from Huawei at Aegis IT’s Head Office in Newcastle upon Tyne.
At half the price of the iPad, but with the same amount of features, the Huawei S7 tablets are proving extremely popular in the UK. The workshops will give participants an inside view into how these technologies integrate, with a live demonstration of VMView - VMware’s leading virtual desktop solution on tablet technology.
A workshop scheduled for Tuesday 20September will be open to customers from any sector, with another held on Thursday the 22 September tailored specifically towards the education sector, whilst the session on Tuesday 27 September will cater for those working in the public sector.
Aegis IT, which has offices in both Scotland and the North East of England, will have staff on hand throughout the day at both events to provide specialist guidance on how attendees can get the best out of these new technologies, along with advice on how it can be beneficial to their specific business requirements.
Workshops begin at 11am and finish at 12.30pm - a light lunch will be provided. Spaces are limited so please book your place early to avoid disappointment - to reserve a place at one of the workshops, please contact Victoria on 0191 300 2155.
