NECC form training partnership with local college
Tyne Metropolitan College is celebrating after winning a hard fought bid to provide training for the NECC.
A range of business support programmes, including Train the Trainer, Emotional Intelligence and Marketing and PR will be delivered as part of the new contract.
Director of Business Development at TyneMet, Vic Reid, successfully led the college through a tough and highly competitive selection process.
He said: “We are absolutely delighted to have secured this contract with NECC and look forward to working in partnership with them delivering high quality training courses to support their members.”
The college was selected for its growing reputation within the business community for delivering training solutions, which was supported by a recent Ofsted report.
John Millichap, Head of Skills Development at the NECC, commented: “As a Chamber of Commerce our number one priority is helping business thrive and prosper.
