Winners announced at Sage awards
Datel Computing Ltd were named overall winners at Tuesday night’s Sage awards in Oxfordshire.
The Warrington based accounting and ERP software company collected the award as developer of the year 2011.
Norkfolk based Computing Support Services picked up the Circle of Excellence 2011 award, which recognises partners with outstanding customer service, and whose customers are most likely to recommend them through word of mouth.
Brendan Flattery, CEO, Sage UK & Ireland commented: “It’s a real privilege to present this award to Computing Support Services and my congratulations go to all involved.
Jayne Archbold, managing director of the Mid Market Division, also addressed the audience of Sage developers and partners at the Haythorpe County Park Hotel.
She outlined her plans to grow the division by 100% over five years, and how she would set about this.
Principally, Jayne talked about getting the right people, the right focus, and the right actions to work with partners in an enterprising way.
To encourage the growth, she stated that focus would be turned to working closely with the developer community, consideration of good acquisitions and customer acquisitions, and potential mergers of complimentary products and services.
