Website copyright years are important
Most members have a website, some will do everything themselves, others will outsource. One very small but important change to be made at this time of the year, is to up date the copyright year to 2012. You may ask why it is important?
A business visitor to a website notices if the copyright year is out of date. The message is, the site is not maintained. Some sites still have 2008 as the year. Don’t let any visitor leave because of this small point. It could make all the other work done a waste of effort.
After making the changes, don’t forget to create all new website sitemaps. Google and Bing need these to index any site correctly.
