Newcastle childrenswear boutique becomes agent for Swedish brand
Retro organic children’s clothing label, DUNS Sweden gets a new UK agent.
Newcastle-based children’s clothing retailer Ruth Lopardo begins in the spring as the new UK agent for DUNS Sweden.
Ruth’s online boutique, Love it Love it Love it, has been stocking colourful unisex clothing for babies and children since 2010 and DUNS Sweden has been at the heart of its collection since the very beginning.
When the opportunity to become the UK agent for DUNS arose, Ruth was in no doubt that she wanted to take on the challenge. “I am passionate about good quality children’s clothing which is colourful, comfortable to wear, easy to care for and kind to the planet. DUNS Sweden was founded in 2007 to create organic, unisex and unique clothing. All items are 100% certified organic cotton produced in ISO 9001:2008 standard factories using non-toxic dyes, so they tick every box and their prints are deliciously retro.” Says Ruth, “I am excited about taking DUNS to a larger audience across the UK.” Andreas Claeson of Duns Sweden is equally excited: “We have been looking for an agent for the British market for quite some time. Ruth’s website is very inspiring to us, so we did not hesitate for one second to make her our UK representative.”
“Organic clothes have traditionally been produced in muted natural colours” says Ruth “DUNS provide a real counterpoint to that, which my customers love. The bright, unisex prints fly off the virtual shelves, offering a different, ethical look to High Street styles”.
