Lord Heseltine in York to promote RGF
Lord Heseltine is set to visit York tomorrow as part of the Regional Growth Fund Roadshow.
He will address around 100 business representatives, entrepreneurs and civic leaders from Yorkshire and Humber.
His speech will encourage businesses and entrepreneurs to bid for project funding from the additional £1bn available in the third round of the fund.
As Chair of the Independent Advisory Panel for the Fund, Lord Heseltine will also meet potential bidders from the region, and offer his advice on the application process.
He aims to inspire local people to think strategically about community economic priorities and come forward with high-quality, innovative proposals for growth.
