Berg boosts ranks with two new solicitors

Berg, the Manchester-based independent law firm, has taken on two new solicitors to support its busy family law and dispute resolution practices.

Chris Longbottom joins the family team and Kim Freeman-Smith will work in the dispute resolution department.

Chris, who studied at the University of Central Lancashire, previously worked at the Manchester office of Russell Jones & Walker, where he was shortlisted as Young Lawyer of the Year in the 2011 North West Young Professional of the Year Awards.

Kim, a Cambridge University graduate, joins from Beech Jones de Lloyd in Liverpool. She completed her training at Manchester law firm Cobbetts.

Alison Loveday, managing partner at Berg, said: “Chris and Kim will play crucial roles in working closely with our partners as they look to support existing and new clients. I am confident they will find Berg a great environment in which to further their careers.”
