Birmingham solicitors partner with charity for specialist service
Birmingham-based Anthony Collins Solicitors have developed a partnership with national deafblind charity Sense.
The aim of the partnership is to provide specialist services to people with dual sensory impairments, in issues around their health, social care, education and discriminatory treatment.
It complements Sense’s work in asserting the legal rights of people with such impairments, and Anthony Collins has made a specialist solicitor available.
JohnWearing, partner at Anthony Collins Solicitors, said: “Anthony Collins Solicitors is committed to providing accessible services to disadvantaged communities and the most vulnerable members of our society.
“In a climate where we are seeing significant constraints on public spending, this is an important step in being able to help deafblind people access the services to which they are entitled.”
Simon Foster, Head of Legal Support Services at Sense, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with an experienced and compassionate solicitor from Anthony Collins Solicitors who enhances our ability to represent the interests of deafblind people.”
