Cello Group complete buyout of Face
London-based marketing group Cello has announced the final buyout of Face, the co-creation planning agency.
Andrew Needham, founding partner and CEO of Face is set to become one of the Cello Group’s 13 managing partners, responsible for expanding the capabilities of Face into a global footprint.
He was also responsible for the combined P&L of other Cello businesses such as Farm, Tangible and Opticomm, based in its London hub.
Andrew will focus on driving Face’s international growth and expansion of overseas offices in order to fully support Face’s increasingly large FMCG client base.
Mark Scott, CEO of Cello Plc, said: “Our social intelligence capability is developing fast, and becoming a core element of our overall expansion strategy as a Group.
“Andrew is uniquely positioned to lead the Group’s strategy in this core area which will help shape our overall future.”
Andrew added: “This is a fantastic opportunity to build on what we have accomplished at Face. I am very excited to be heading up and delivering a truly global footprint with research teams on the ground supported by innovative tech, social and mobile research solutions that will be a key part of Face’s continued growth and leadership position in intelligent research for social brands.”
