Hands off for mobile app payments
Starbuck’s have announced today that customers will be able to pay using their mobile phones in all 7, 000 US shops.
The coffee chain has teamed up with American mobile applications company Square.
There is no date as yet for Square to come across to Britain, however the benefits of contactless payments for business are something to think about.
Paying using a mobile app or swipe card increases customer convenience, enables faster transactions and increases the longevity of payment equipment.
Although consumers may be cautious and fearful of security risks, the advantages could encourage further sales and customer satisfaction by making transactions easier.
Would you consider using this system for your business? Or are security queries putting you off?
