Who owns UK natural resources?
This week the Material Security Working Group (MSWG) drew our attention to a potential “crunch” on the supply of raw materials.
The group called for the Government to take decisive action to secure the future supply of materials for UK manufacturers.
One thing the call did not mention, was that over half of the shares in UK natural resources are now owned by overseas investors. Could this be a problem?
