All Aboard The FSB Real Life Entrepreneurs Train

The FSB in the North East are heading to Westminster with a delegation of small and micro businesses on Monday September 10th as part of our Real Life Entrepreneurs campaign.

Our campaign is lobbying on the issues that matter to Real Life Entrepreneurs including accessing finance to grow a business, clamping down on late payment and opening up export markets.

In total we have 90 businesses from across the North and Midlands converging on Westminster to tell approximately 50 MPs what needs to be done to help stimulate growth in the economy.

We will hear from a cross section of MPs including Toby Perkins, Shadow Small Business Minister and Matthew Hancock, who has been promoted to Minister in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

We are delighted that Real Life Entrepreneur Ambassador Mary Glindon MP for North Tyneside has agreed to host us in the House of Commons. As an Ambassador Mary has always been keen to demonstrate that signing up as an Ambassador is more than signing a pledge.

For the North East economy to grow the needs of small and micro businesses must be listened to and acted on.

This is something the FSB has done since its inception in 1974 and will continue to do for businesses across the North East.
