Jack Wolfskin open a seventh store in Leeds

Jack Wolfskin, one of Europe’s leading providers of outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, is continuing its expansion in theUKwith the opening of a seventh store.

Mountain Paw-Print Limited, Jack Wolfskin’s franchise partner, will be opening the 1,200 sq ft store in Oakgate Land’s Trinity Square development on Boar Lane on 20thSeptember to compliment existing stores in London (3), Birmingham the Lake District and York.

The company, which is one of the largest franchise specialists of sporting goods in Europe, has ambitious expansion plans for the UK which has the second largest outdoor market in Europe.

Trinity Squareoccupies a prominent position onBoar Laneand is flanked on two sides by Trinity Leeds which is opening in March 2013. Oakgate Land was advised by Savills and Dresler Smith.

Richard Webster of Sanderson Weatherall LLP who acquired the unit on behalf of Mountain Paw-Print commented “Leeds remains a buoyant retail destination and two major schemes in the pipeline – Trinity Leeds and Eastgate – reinforce the city’s reputation as a major retail destination in the North of England.

“A new store in Leeds is a natural progression for the Jack Wolfskin brand in the North of England and further reinforces their presence in the outdoor retail sector.”

As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers in outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, the store opens just in time to corner the lucrative autumn trading period as the winter collections hit the shelves with products from the Alpinism, Trekking, Hiking and Family ranges available in store.
