Positive final quarter for Topps Tiles
Leicester-based Topps Tiles Plc have reported a “positive” final quarter, as revenues have increased for the firm by 3.7%.
The firm said revenues for the 52 week period to September 29 are expected to be in the region of £177m, up from £175.5m in 2011.
Throughout the year Topps opened 13 stores and closed or relocated a further eight during the period, and sold a freehold property for a consideration of £3.1m.
A trading statement said the board expected adjusted pre-tax profit for the 52 week period to be broadly in line with consensus.
