Research reveals risk from personal electrical items
New research released today by RSA, the UK’s largest commercial insurer, reveals the extent to which today’s reliance on technology is infiltrating the workplace and increasing risk of fire and personal injury.
Of the eleven British regions surveyed, respondents in the North East have experienced the highest incidence of personal electrical items catching fire, while employees in Scotland reported the highest incidence of items blowing up and level of personal injury such as electric shocks and burns.
