Cameron said “the damage is worse than we thought, and its taking longer than we thought.” It’s what we all know, in fact some might argue it’s not working altogether. The two key ingredients in Cameron’s recipe for growth are low interest rates, and confidence.

It was only on Monday that the IMF predicted the UK economy would shrink by 4%. So, is it working?
