National Minimum Wage: how has it worked?
This week, we learnt that wage inequality is rising across the UK. The Low Pay Commission (LPC) is set to visit Sheffield next week, to look into the impacts of the National Minimum Wage.
A report published earlier this year from the Institute for Social & Economic Research, said there was so far little known about the impact of the NMW upratings during recession.
ONS stats suggest the NMW has helped the bottom 2% of earners. So, with the living wage in the spotlight, and the upcoming LPC work, what do you think the next step for NMW should be?
