Peering over the hedge
This weekend’s Sunday Times business pages featured an interest window on the world of hedge funds, and detailed some of the top names in the industry. As this week is finance week on Bdaily, it got me thinking.
Reading between the lines one thing was clear: London dominates in hosting the offices of these significantly potent funds.
By osmosis, the South East has benefited disproportionately from their investments. So, alongside the LEPs, Regional Growth Fund and so on, could we look to attract major hedge funds to the regions?
