Christmas comes early for Royal Quays competition winner

One lucky competition winner has scooped a £300 shopping spree at the Royal Quays Outlet Centre in North Shields.

Rebecca Pike, from Jesmond, was randomly selected as the winner, following her visit to the Royal Quays stand at the Living North Christmas Fair last month.

To celebrate the festive season, the Royal Quays Outlet Centre ran the competition across the four-day exhibition at Newcastle Racecourse in November, during which over 500 people entered the free prize draw to win the vouchers to spend at any store at Royal Quays which include national brands such as Thorntons, Marks & Spencer and The Body Shop, Next and Nike.

Collecting her prize, Rebecca said: “I couldn’t believe it when I found out! I have never won anything in my life so I was thrilled when I heard the good news.

“To be honest I had forgotten about it as you don’t expect to win and it was while I was checking my emails I found out I was the winner! With Christmas fast-approaching the vouchers will come in very handy. As soon as I found out I had won, I booked in a half day holiday as I wanted to leisurely browse through the stores and take advantage of the late night shopping hours.”

Royal Quays Centre Manager, Judith Ramshaw, said: “At Royal Quays, we have a wide variety of stores offering great choice at excellent value, I am sure that Rebecca will enjoy using up the vouchers.”
