Ten Alps suffer further losses
Media company Ten Alps has experienced a weaker year, suffering losses of £1.7m.
In a trading statement, the firm said it still faced a “stressed macro environment” after significant restructuring in an effort to turn its fortunes.
The company’s TV division now operates from centralised London offices with a smaller Manchester satellite.
Ten Alps have produced programmes such as Panorama, Dispatches and Queen Victoria’s Last Love across the year.
Chairman Peter Bertram said: “As I communicated 12 months ago the key aim was all about creating a solid base from which to develop Ten Alps for the future. We are making progress albeit slowly.
“We have disposed of non-core assets, simplified the structure of the Group into three distinct divisions, implemented further cost reductions and delivered high calibre products. We believe that by the end of the current financial year, the Group will have completed all its planned restructuring and will be ready for any new challenges.”
