Johnston Press teams up with Madhouse Associates
One of the UK’s top community media organisations has enlisted award-winning, integrated marketing agency Madhouse Associates to design and launch its new fixed price recruitment website.
The Manchester-based agency has been briefed to develop a brand identity and website for Johnston Press’ latest offering - www.thesmartlist.co.uk - following a three-way pitch.
As part of the project the Madhouse creative team has devised ‘CV2U’ - a character which guides users through the process of submitting a vacancy and searching for applicants via easy to follow animations.
Stephen Anderson, General Manager - The SmartList.at Johnston Press commented, “Madhouse impressed us from the start of the pitching process by answering our brief with a clear strategic and creative approach. This, coupled with the agency’s experience of working in the digital arena and the team’s passion for The Smartlist, set them apart from the competition and ensured there was only one agency we wanted to work with.
“We are delighted with the overall look and feel of the site and CV2U really brings the concept to life. As we venture into the competitive recruitment sector, we are well-placed to launch The Smartlist brand to our target audiences.”
Phil Rogerson, joint managing director of Madhouse added, “The website is an exciting proposition in the recruitment sector and the brief has allowed us to showcase all of the agency’s skills. While the designers flexed their creative muscles to bring CV2U to life, our digital team has focused on delivering a website that offers a fantastic user experience. “
