2013: Quality and service essential to retail
Jason Maguire, Director of Frank’s The Flooring Store, believes good customer service and price will be essential for retailers in 2013.
He said: “The High Street has had a very tough 2012 and 2013 will continue in the same vein, with battlegrounds well established between retail parks and the High Street, as well as online.
“Those fighting to retain their positions need to focus on high quality customer service and price. There is only so much you can do on price, once you have reached a certain point, but customer service is an area upon which you can always improve and which cannot be replicated effectively online.”
