Is Europe one of the building blocs?
Stephen Odell, chief executive of Ford Europe, and Ian Robertson, global head of sales at BMW told The Sunday Telegraph that it would be bad for business if the UK were to leave the EU.
Their arguments were largely based around the supposition that the UK must be part of a wider trading bloc to compete in global terms.
If we look European Commission’s own update on free trade agreements, the opening line suggests 90% of world demand will be generated outside of the EU.
So, ahead of the Prime Ministers delayed speech on Europe, what makes business sense?
