4Networking Launches Three New North East Groups

National business networking organisation, 4Networking, is expanding in the North East, with three new groups launching this month. This will bring the total number in the region to seven.

Networking groups will launch in Gateshead on 14th February, Sunderland on 19th February, and Gosforth on 21st February. These will run alongside 4N’s established groups at Newcastle Quayside, Newcastle Airport, Cramlington and Durham North.

The Gateshead group, based at the Regus office in Team Valley, will be the first 4N meeting in the North East to run at lunchtime. Tom Lawrence, Regional Leader, will be overseeing the launch, assisted by Paul Ainscow from Redesdale Consultancy and Kimberley Mearns from Regus, who will act as Operations and Marketing Assistants respectively.

Sunderland, which will run as a breakfast meeting, will be hosted at the Regus office at Doxford International Business Park. This group will come under the leadership of Andrew Pickering and Peter Gartland, from web design company Andrew and Pete. They said: “We took over the Durham North group a couple of months ago, and it’s going from strength to strength with an impressive number of attendees. We’re excited about taking on a new challenge and hopefully making the Sunderland group just as successful.”

The Gosforth evening group, held at Loch Fyne on West Avenue, will be looked after by Mike McCoy, Director of ME PAT Services and Area Leader for the Quayside, Cramlington and Airport groups. Ashleigh Hawkes, owner of It’seeze Web Design, will take on the Group Leader role.

Mike commented: “It’s great that we’re now able to offer a variety of breakfast, lunchtime and evening meetings – more locations and different times of day mean that we can provide more opportunities for busy people to network at a time that suits them.”

Tom Lawrence added: “It’s been a good year for 4N in the North East – the current groups have continued to grow in popularity and numbers. We’re thrilled to be starting three new groups within one month, and look forward to welcoming both existing members and new visitors to 4N.”

4N is ‘the social business network’, and was founded by author and motivational speaker, Brad Burton. The organisation currently has thousands of members across the UK, forming more than 250 groups. The newly-updated website,www.4networking.biz, also has 50,000 members participating in online networking.

‘Passport’ members can attend breakfast, lunchtime or evening meetings anywhere in the UK, as well as regularly attending their local group, giving many opportunities to make business connections nationally.
