Businesses encouraged to get onboard Newcastle Fashion Week
Businesses across Newcastle are being encouraged to get involved in NE1 Newcastle Fashion Week in May.
The team at NE1 say businesses can host their own events, promotions and activities during the week, or can get involved by hosting themed nights at bars and restaurants.
This year NE1 are working with Newcastle City Library and Tyne and Wear Museums on a “Generations of Style” competition.
The week aims to promote the city as a shopping, fashion and beauty destination; driving footfall, and boosting sales.
In 2012, NE1 NFW reported an increase of 52% in footfall and 33% in sales for participating businesses and a £220K PR coverage value.
