Certero lands trio of NHS deals

IT firm Certero has secured three NHS deals across the North West and is continuing to grow in the health sector.

The Warrington-based company signed contracts with Blackburn and Darwen Clinic Commissioning Group (CCG), East Lancashire CCG, Greater Preston CCG and Chorley and South Ribble CCG.

News of the deals came soon after another key NHS SAM contract win for the firm with King’s College Hospital London, which is one of the busiest hospitals in the country.

Certero’s managing director John Lunt said the business is already the largest supplier of ‘PC Power Management’ to the NHS, and this round of deals will see the firm providing its software solution, AssetStudio, to the healthcare service.

Mr Lunt commented: “This trio of NHS deals indicates the strength of our profile and reputation in the health sector.

“We are delighted to be helping the public sector drive greater efficiency across their software estate. Through proactive management of their software assets, organisations can defend themselves against vendor compliance reviews and reduce software procurement costs.

“AssetStudio works by gathering highly detailed and accurate software information and automatically analyses licence entitlements to provide an Effective Licence Position (ELP).

“It is designed to simplify the software asset management process with modular components, working across multi platforms and vendors.

“It is capable of managing the most sophisticated and complex IT infrastructures and can now work alongside and complement existing third party solutions such as Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).”

Certero has won further deals with Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust London, Aintree Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Liverpool, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust and Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
