PERFORM Moves to 8 Park Row
Acting on behalf of Threadneedle, CBRE’s Leeds Office Agency team has let 3,800 sq ft of office accommodation on the 5th floor of 8 Park Row to Global digital media company, PERFORM.
PERFORM, which has 900 staff in 23 offices across the world as far as Japan and New Zealand, launched its Leeds office just over a year ago. The expanding firm, whose primary focus is commercialising sports content over digital platforms, recruited 25 staff last year at their former Princes Exchange office and by the end of this Summer aims to have around 60 staff working from their new base at 8 Park Row.
Ben Warn, Managing Director of Consumer Brands & Portals at PERFORM, said; “We took the decision to launch our first UK office outside of London last year in response to client demand for a consumer division. Leeds was a clear choice for us as it has an established digital community with a great resource pool who are experienced in digital sports. We have gone from strength to strength having more than doubled in size since we launched and it was time to move to a central base to accommodate our growing team. 8 Park Row gives us the space to grow whilst placing us in the heart of Leeds.”
Alex Hailey, Senior Surveyor at CBRE Leeds, said; “8 Park Row occupies one of the most coveted addresses in the city centre with numerous banks, bars and restaurants including Jamie Oliver’s Italian all based there as well as having Trinity on its doorstep. The Grade A office accommodation suited PERFORM’s requirement for quality space in a prime location.”
CBRE is joint agent on 8 Park Row with Gerald Eve and BNP Paribas.
