Newcastle Airport crowned top of the car parks

Newcastle Airport is the UK’s top airport to park your car at, according to customer feedback collected by online airport parking specialists, Essential Travel.

Passengers gave Newcastle a huge 95/100 from over 2825 reviews, making it the top of the car parks.

The top five were all Northern airports, including Edinburgh, Birmingham, Leeds and Aberdeen.

Essential Travel’s Steve Smith, said: “Not only does Newcastle take the lead in the parking stakes, but it has also been named as the most punctual airport in the UK, with 84% of flights leaving on time.”

Newcastle scored highly for its smooth service, while Edinburgh was seen to offer value for money; and Leeds offered security.
