Employees driving major change recognised for their efforts
Individuals from UK businesses have been shortlisted in a national competition recognising their hand in driving change in their companies.
The Microsoft Dynamics Change Ambassadors awards, managed by the Economist Intelligence Unit, have shortlisted five workers for the award.
The nominees include Jason Yip, of NewcastleGateshead Initiative, for his work in digitising a destination marketing organisation.
Elsewhere, Miles Austin of Climate Markets & Investment Association, has been shortlisted for his hand in rebranding a trade association to support cultural and structural reform and broaden its focus.
Melanie Lane of Shell UK is nominated for her work in re-positioning a brand in response to changing customer and competitive trends; while Cheryl Cullen of Clarion Interpreting is recognised for her services to deaf people.
QinetiQ’s Carlin McCormack is recognised for support of self-study through external certification.
Others from Eversheds, Asda and Food Alert are also nominated for their efforts across different categories.
The finalists will be judged by a panel including Jackie Hunt, CFO of Standard Life plc; Doug Baillie, chief HR officer at Unilever; and Umair Haque, director of Havas Media Labs.
