Construction decline slows say ONS
The pace of decline in British construction output slowed in April, data from the Office for National Statistics shows.
Estimated construction output in April 2013 was 1.1% lower than in April 2012, and comparing the three months from February to April 2013 with the same three months a year earlier, output decreased by 4.7%.
Comparing April 2013 with March 2013, construction output decreased by 6.5%. Decreases occurred across all sectors with the exception of private housing new work and repair & and maintenance.
