EMS appoints Brian Child to its Board
Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has strengthened its management team by appointing Brian Child to its board of directors.
EMS is the leading European roadshow truck tour supplier and last year EMEA tours accounted for almost two-thirds of the company’s income. International growth is at the forefront of EMS’ business development and Brian will be intrinsic to this strategy, leading the company’s sales and marketing division.
As one of the most high profile advertising executives in the North West, Brian is renowned for his role as CEO in making McCann Manchester the largest agency outside London. He also established experiential agency Momentum in Europe and will use his expertise to drive international growth for EMS.
Keith Austin, CEO at EMS said: “Brian has an impressive track record and we’re pleased to welcome him on board. He will play a pivotal role in the company’s development strategy as we focus on international expansion and strengthening our position overseas.”
Brian says: “Since leaving McCann I have been in the envious position of being able to spend my time working with ambitious companies. When I met Keith I was impressed by what he had achieved and bought into his vision for the future growth of the company. I’m delighted to be part of their plans.”
