Harvey & Hugo scores new appointment

NORTH-East based PR and marketing agency Harvey & Hugo continues to expand with the appointment of a new business development manager.

The Darlington based business, which also has an office in Newcastle, has appointed Tori Gill to help drive the firm further forward in the region and throughout the UK.

Popularly known for her former role as commercial director at Darlington Football club, Darlington-born Tori has vast knowledge in the development of businesses after working for Johnston Press in a similar position. As well as this, Tori is the owner of the Darlington Area Jobs board which has an impressive combination of 7,400 Facebook fans and Twitter followers.

Tori said: “Coupled with my vast network of connections and my love of social media, it feels only natural to be joining the excellent team at Harvey & Hugo and I’m extremely excited for its future.”

Managing Director Charlotte Nichols commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Tori to the team. Tori is a well-known business woman in Darlington and the North-East and I have every faith she’ll help take us to the next level.

“We’ve been growing steadily since the Company was established over four years ago. I put this down to our proactive approach to PR and being early adopters of social media and content marketing.”

The firm, which employs eight people and has recently seen an upsurge in its digital marketing services, provides Pay-as-Hugo-PR, social media management and blogging services to organisations covering a wide variety of industries.
