Nike store for Broughton Shopping Park
Nike is set to open its first UK non-discount shopping park store at Broughton Shopping Park near Chester.
The multinational sports brand will move into a former JJB Sports unit and is expected to start trading in October.
Hercules Unit Trust, the specialist retail park fund advised by British land and managed by Schroders struck the deal
It follows lettings to Cineworld, Frankie & Benny’s, Pizza Express and Chiquito at the £13m leisure extension at the shopping complex.
Edward Cree, senior asset manager for British Land, said: “We are continuing to actively evolve and reposition our shopping park portfolio. Nike is a fantastic addition to the park, will further broaden the offer at Broughton and adds another worldwide recognised brand to the Hercules portfolio.”
