Irwin Mitchell strengthens Sheffield team to further enhance reputation
The Sheffield office of Irwin Mitchell has recruited another real estate expert as it continues to grow in the region.
Kate McGoverne has been appointed as a real estate solicitor- adding to its six-strong team- and acts for both public and private sector clients
Kate has five years of post qualification experience in commercial property law in all areas of asset management work, with a particular emphasis on the retail sector and the acquisition and disposal of large property portfolios.
Kate said: “Irwin Mitchell is clearly growing and there are very interesting opportunities and challenges here. I also wanted to be involved in the local market more and Irwin Mitchell is a strong leader with an unrivalled reputation.”
Kate’s appointment is the latest in Irwin Mitchell’s fast-growing business team in Sheffield. In the previous 12 months the firm has appointed senior deal-makers Andrea Cropley from Nabarro and Matt Ainsworth from DLA Piper. The firm has also hired Sheffield-based banking and finance specialist, Dean Gormley.
