Businesses’ chance to seek ‘alternative funding’
Businesses in the region have an opportunity to see how they can tap into alternative sources of funding.
Tees Valley-based accountants and business advisors Waltons Clark Whitehill is inviting bosses to attend an alternative funding event, when advice and guidance will be given.
The event will take place on Wednesday 25th September 25 at the firm’s Maritime House head office on The Marina, with a 12noon arrival for a 12.30pm start. Lunch will be provided.
There are to be a number of keynote speakers, including two ex-bankers and a representative of the Jeremie Fund.
A business planning expert will also discuss various topics including what banks look for, alternative sources of funding in the Tees Valley area and tips on what businesses should include in their business plans.
Paul Harrison, partner at Waltons Clark Whitehill, said: “With more and more businesses looking to fund new projects, in these tough economic conditions it is vital that people are advised properly on how to pursue this kind of funding.
“We advise businesses to speak with their bank first when they are sourcing funding, as this is the easiest method.
“But should this be unsuccessful there are plenty of other means, all of which will be covered at the event from a host of experienced people.”
