The demand for fibre broadband

In an environment with an ever increasing demand for the best technological solutions, Fibre Broadband is quickly becoming a ‘must have’ of businesses up and down the country. According to research conducted by Nielsen Online; last year, 34% of the world’s population used the Internet, a 566% rise in the number of people to use the Internet since 2000. The internet has become one of the most used commodities in the World and people now take it for granted and want it at the touch of their fingertips.

Agile Communications have seen a recent influx of new customers and a demand from the current customer base that wants Fibre Broadband. The company have an extensive deal of knowledge and experience across all communication markets and were quick to look at their options for Fibre Broadband 12 months ago when it was anticipated that the market would roar in to life.

Research dictates that in the past 24 months, businesses have become more demanding. There appears to be a real ‘get the job done now’ ethos so as to ensure that customers are kept happy and revenue keeps increasing. With consumers able to access a plethora of options and suppliers on the Internet, its dual purpose and importance at both ends of the purchasing spectrum means businesses must react quickly to demand. These processes generate the subsequent demand for quicker internet and the option of Fibre Broadband.

Gavin Scotchbrook, Director of Agile Communications, recently said “Fibre Broadband appears to be evolving as quickly as the usage of Internet itself over the past 10 years. In 2012, 4% of our customers enquired about Fibre Broadband; in 2013 we have so far had 18% of our customers enquire about the product”.

The figures do not lie and demonstrate a real demand for quicker internet solutions. Agile Communications have put Fibre Broadband into 12 businesses so far this year and plan for another 6 in the coming 3 months.

“Businesses are becoming more savvy and mature about their technological needs and it is no surprise to see our customers want a higher quality product and better quality internet connection. I have no doubt that over the next 5 years 50% of our customers will have Fibre Broadband in their business”.
