Yorkshire recruitment agency partners with marketing body
Yorkshire recruitment agency, Elevation of Leeds and Rotherham, has joined forces with The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) to provide support to members across the region who are interested in moving up the career ladder in the sales and marketing sector.
The new partnership will give CIM members access to Elevation’s expert team of sales and marketing recruiters, with the agency also supporting a number of marketing events across Yorkshire, including upcoming talks from Sonia Whiteley-Guest, former retail director at Everything Everywhere; business leadership expert, Dr Michael Cassop-Thompson; and a marketing event hosted by leading Yorkshire broadband provider Plusnet.
The collaboration will also see the firm’s recruitment specialists host training sessions for students from the region’s major universities, giving them guidance on how to secure a job in the sector after they graduate.
Elevation’s associate director of sales & marketing, Sarah Lee Neesam, claims that a rise in the demand for sales and marketing professionals in key sectors such as financial services, manufacturing and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) demonstrated an ‘ongoing need for quality candidates’.
She said: “Our partnership with the CIM will help us give marketing professionals across Yorkshire the know-how and support to advance their careers and we will be giving them advice sessions on such issues as how to tailor their CV and how to approach interview situations when the time comes.”
Diane Earles, network manager at The Chartered Institute of Marketing added: “We are really pleased to be working with Elevation to support marketers in Yorkshire and we are grateful for this support from a local business. We look forward to a successful autumn season.”
